Wright Art Twins Award
Each year, we proudly present the Wright Art Twins Award, honoring an emerging artist whose creative voice and innovative vision are set to make a lasting impact on the world of contemporary art.
Sponsored Exhibitions
WATF curates solo exhibitions, spotlighting both emerging and established artists chosen for their exceptional contributions to aesthetics, storytelling, and cultural relevance. These exhibitions are developed in-house or in collaboration with distinguished guest curators, who work closely with us to craft a distinct and resonant curatorial vision for each show.
Grants
WATF provides grants to individual artists and museums for the acquisition of significant works and the execution of projects that align with our mission. We proudly invest in bold ideas and initiatives that exemplify artistic excellence, foster innovation, and inspire cultural transformation.
Learn About Wright Art Twins
Princeton and Preston Wright—better known as the Wright Art Twins—started just like many kids: sketching Dragon Ball Z characters and exploring their creativity with pencil and paper. As teens, they took it up a notch, painting a mural of the Longhorn mascot at Cedar Hill High School. But then, life happened—and the brushes went dry for five years.
When they returned to the art world, it wasn’t with open arms. No galleries, no solo shows, no easy paths. But instead of waiting for someone to give them a chance, they created their own lane. They built their own stage, organized their first solo show—and it was a massive success.
Fueled by passion and purpose, they rented their own art spaces, hosted two more solo exhibitions, and developed a bold new style they call Emcrism—a unique form of expressionism painted in complete collaboration, two minds on one canvas.
By their third show, the Wright Art Twins were building more than an art career—they were building a creative movement, fusing art, fashion, and community. They realized quickly: it’s not just about having a space to shine—it’s about creating that space for others too.
In 2017, they began doing just that—sponsoring solo exhibitions for other artists. No big-name backers, just grit, vision, and relentless hustle. They marketed every show themselves and built a growing audience across Dallas, Houston, and Las Vegas. Over 70 artists had their first solo shows because of them.
Today, the Wright Art Twins are more than artists—they're architects of opportunity, mentors, and leaders in a mission-driven movement to empower the next generation of creatives. What they once lacked, they now give—streamlining the path for artists nationwide to be seen, celebrated, and successful.
